On January 8, 2024, an important partnership was established between Vegvisir and MKU Limited through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This collaboration signifies the next step in taking Vegvisir to the defense technology market.

Vegvisir, known for its innovative situational awareness system for armored vehicles, has been at the forefront of development in this field for the past three years. Since its market launch in September 2023, the system has attracted significant interest, culminating in this strategic agreement to introduce Vegvisir to the Indian defense market.

MKU Limited, a renowned Indian defense company, brings to the partnership its expertise in advanced protection solutions for both individuals and platforms. With a history dating back to 1985, MKU has established itself as a global leader in the defense sector. The company’s extensive product range, which includes ballistic helmets, body armor, and optronic devices, is backed by substantial investments in research and development, leading to patented technologies and innovative solutions.

The synergy between Vegvisir and MKU will focus on adapting the situational awareness system to meet the specific needs of the Indian market.
